How to use it

Wet your face with lukewarm water.
- 2
Massage a small amount over your face and neck, adding a little water as you go to build a light lather.
- 3
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean towel.
- 4
Use every morning and evening. In the evening, if you have worn makeup or sunscreen, cleanse twice.

Your questions, answered
Can I use the Facial Cleanser twice a day?
Yes. It is gentle enough for morning and evening use on almost every skin type.
Does it remove makeup and sunscreen?
Yes, especially if you cleanse twice in the evening: the first cleanse lifts the day away, the second cleans your skin. Remove heavy or waterproof eye makeup first.
Will it dry out my skin?
It is soap-free, so it cleans without stripping. If your skin still feels tight after cleansing, use lukewarm rather than hot water and follow straight away with the Hydralite Moisturiser.
Is it good for oily or breakout-prone skin?
Yes. It cleans thoroughly and rinses off completely, without the harsh stripping that can make oily skin produce even more oil.
Does it foam?
Gently. It is a clear gel that turns into a soft, light lather as you add water. Less foam doesn't mean less clean: its plant-derived glucoside cleansers clean well without the big bubbles of harsher formulas.
What is Kigelia africana?
The fruit of the African sausage tree. It has a long history of traditional use on the skin, and in skincare it is used to soothe and balance.
Can I use it after a facial, peel or microneedling?
Yes, it is gentle enough and it is what we want you using between treatments. On the day of a peel or microneedling, follow the aftercare you are given, as we sometimes ask you to wait before washing your face.
What size is it?
160 ml, in a pump bottle. You only need a small amount each time, so it goes a long way.
